Hi, I'm Radley. At 3 Wishes Games, I combine over a decade of professional Software Testing experience with hands-on game development, narrative design and a deep love for imaginative, emotionally meaningful worlds.
My goal is simple:
To help fellow developers create games that feel clearer, kinder, more memorable, and more magical for players of all ages and experience levels.
Whether you're starting from scratch, shaping mechanics, polishing a prototype, refining your story or preparing for release, I offer thoughtful, detailed support that strengthens your game without compromising your creative vision.
My services are built around Three Enchanted Pillars, reflecting the natural arc of game development.
“Where worlds are shaped, heroes take form, and gameplay becomes meaningful”
I help you discover, refine and strengthen the meaning, structure and emotional core of your game—ensuring every mechanic, level, character and story beat works together as a unified experience.
“Where ideas take form, systems become playable, and worlds gain clarity”
This pillar turns concepts into prototypes, logic into systems, and sketches into 3D form—helping you build a world players can see, feel and explore.
“Where polish, consistency and reliability are forged”
Through structured QA, playtesting and clarity evaluation, I help ensure your game is stable, reliable and enjoyable, giving players an experience that feels polished and trustworthy.
The Storyforge — Creates clarity, purpose and emotional meaning
The Journeyworks — Shapes how the game feels, plays and behaves
The Guardian’s Seal — Ensures stability, polish and reliability
Together, they create a supportive ecosystem that helps studios deliver thoughtful, engaging and heartfelt experiences.
Helping your mechanics, systems and player journey feel intuitive, readable and purposeful.
Good gameplay feels intuitive — players always understand what to do, why it matters, and how their actions shape the world.
I help you refine:
Gameplay flow and moment-to-moment clarity
Level design readability and pacing
Teaching moments, onboarding and tutorials
Puzzle logic and player guidance
Combat readability and rhythm
System behavior and player feedback loops
Design documentation
My approach blends player psychology, accessibility and gentle thoughtful design — ensuring your mechanics feel natural and enjoyable for both newcomers and experienced gamers.
Strengthening the emotional heartbeat of your game.
Stories are the heartbeats of the worlds we create. I support narrative that feels meaningful, coherent and emotionally resonant.
I can help with:
Story structure & plot cohesion
Narrative design
Theme, tone and emotional pacing
Character development
Dialogue refinement & character voice
Worldbuilding, lore development and narrative integration
Story delivery through gameplay, not just cutscenes
Whether your goal is wonder, mystery, courage or heart, I help ensure your narrative shines through clearly and beautifully.
Hands-on interactive prototypes inside Unreal Engine.
For teams building in Unreal, I offer practical, lightweight Blueprint prototypes for testing ideas quickly:
Interaction & trigger prototypes
Gameplay mechanics
Simple AI behavior
Puzzle logic and obstacles
Greybox-level blockouts
Environment design
Gameplay interaction sequences
UI/UX logic setup
I can also design the 3D models of the puzzles and obstacles.
These prototypes are not final production code — they are design tools to help you test AND communicate your ideas. You could build on these as development progresses.
Clean, optimized models to support worldbuilding and level design.
I create 3D assets that fit the art style, tone and gameplay needs of your world — ready for Unreal, Unity or other engines.
Houses, structures, cottages & fantasy buildings
Modular kits (walls, roofs, stairs, windows, balconies)
Bridges, walkways, platforms & fences
Furniture & interior props
Environment set pieces
Puzzles & Obstacles
Clean topology & UVs
PBR textures
Customizable material instances
Modular variants (if requested)
Proper scale, pivots & naming conventions
Optional collision meshes
These assets help both designers & developers work faster and more confidently.
Ensuring the journey feels intuitive, accessible and emotionally engaging.
A great player experience is invisible — it simply “feels right.”
I evaluate how players perceive, understand and interact with your game.
UI clarity & information hierarchy
Player flow & navigation
Cognitive load & accessibility
Difficulty balance & fairness
Frustration points & usability issues
Emotional pacing & engagement
I help ensure your game is not only playable — but inviting, comfortable and compelling.
Protecting your game’s integrity through clear, structured analysis.
Drawing from 10+ years as an SQE, SDET and Test Manager, I provide thorough, disciplined testing that strengthens your game’s foundation.
Functional & exploratory testing
Clear, reproducible bug reports
Regression testing
Stability & behavior checks
Edge-case & boundary exploration
Acceptance criteria validation
Player Experience consistency testing
This service ensures your game behaves reliably across systems, features and updates — creating a smoother, more enjoyable experience for players.
I blend QA discipline with creative storytelling and design insight.
I believe games should uplift players, spark imagination, and feel welcoming to everyone.
I work gently, respectfully and supportively — helping your game grow alongside your vision.
From systems logic to narrative meaning, I consider every layer of the player’s journey.
I’ve walked the entire path myself — every mistake, every victory, every patch.
I understand the realities of small teams and solo creators.
Game development is iterative, creative, and ever-changing.
Rather than fixed packages that limit scope, I work through a simple foundation:
This ensures you only pay for the support you need—when you need it.
Before any work begins, I take time to understand your project, your goals, and your challenges.
For teams early in development who have a high-level idea and want to understand what support they might need.
Includes:
Brief review of concept
30-minute call
General recommendations
Rough estimate of service offerings
For teams with more defined concepts, demos, GDDs or narrative materials.
Includes:
Review of documents/builds

Summary of findings
Tailored hour estimate and milestone outline
This step ensures clarity for both sides—reducing risk, cost, and confusion later.

Tiered per-asset pricing
Small props: R100–R150 ($6 - $9 USD)
Medium assets: R250–R400 ($15 - $24 USD)
Complex buildings including interior: R450–R700 ($27 - $42 USD)
Based on your needs, we can discuss creating asset packs. As an example, you need a fairytale-fantasy town with 10 buildings. Instead of charging you per building, I will create a few unique buildings, then use those base models to design different variations, saving on time and cost.
All models include clean topology, PBR textures (if needed), and optional modular variations.

If you prefer long-term support—weekly input, monthly iterations, or consistent testing—we can set up a dedicated monthly retainer at a discounted rate. This could be used for any of my service offerings.
